Developing Countries Partnership Scholarship (KNB Scholarship): Call for applications

The Government of the Republic of Indonesia is offering Master Degree scholarships targeted at government officials and faculty through the Developing Countries Partnership Scheme.

Scholarship are available in the fields of humanities, engineering, social sciences, multi-disciplinary studies, education and sciences.

Duration of scholarship is three (3) years, comprising of 8 months Indonesian language preparation, 4 months Master preparatory program, and 2 years for the Master Program. View the KNB Scholarship applicant’s guidebook

The Scholarship will cover return airfare ticket (economy class) tuition fees, settlement allowance, living allowance, research allowance, book allowance and health insurance.

Eligibility:

  • Maximum age is 35 years old;
  • Possess a bachelor degree;

NB: Master degree holders not eligible to apply;

  • Have TOEFL (or other English proficiency) score of 500 or equivalent;
  • Complete the online application form.

Required documents:

  • Get a recommendation letter from the Indonesian Embassy in the respective country;
  • Nomination letter from the respective government official;
  • 2 Academic recommendation letters;
  • Scanned passport or birth certificate;
  • Scanned bachelor degree certificate and academic transcripts;
  • Scanned TOEFL score certificate obtained within the last 2 years;
  • Scanned medical statement from government hospital.
